In this sequel, the post-apocalyptic context in New York City will replace Washington DC. Moreover, it took place 7 months later, when people were beginning to get used to the dead and chaotic world around them.

The Division 2 will talk more about survivors, instead of virus outbreaks and physical damage it leaves. In the first game, the player explores a post-apocalyptic / postmodern world translated with incredible details. But the big minus point lies in the characters, the survivors appear fuzzy compared to the context, and feel a bit empty. Ubisoft is ensuring this will not happen with the next part.

The Division 2 is scheduled for release on March 15.
