Epic Games Store "robs" The Division 2 from Steam before the launch date is near

Ubisoft and Epic have just announced an exclusive sale partnership for PC-based games, including The Division 2.

The creative company, Fortnite, has made a big mark for its store, announcing the successful cooperation with Ubisoft. With this agreement, the future manufacturer's products from France will give preference to Epic Games Store, not the Steam system.

According to the Polygon site, the exclusive sale agreement will start in March with the release of The Division 2, the immersive action game that is highly anticipated.

"We have no plans to release Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 on Steam," Ubisoft's representative said.

“We commissioned Epic to provide a smooth journey for our fans, from pre-order games and to enjoy the Beta, until the launch of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 on March 15. "

"Epic is still stirring up the video game industry and their third-party digital distribution model is the latest example and also something that Ubisoft wants to support."

It should also be noted that The Division 2 has appeared on Steam and can still be seen in the database, but the product page has been deleted. In addition to Epic Store, games will also be available for purchase through a separate store managed by Ubisoft.

The Division 2 Steam page is now deleted.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an upcoming online action role-playing game, developed by Massive Entertainment and released by Ubisoft. The game will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 15, 2019.

Experience from a third person perspective, the game context takes place in Washington D.C. 7 months after the events of the original version. In it, a civil war cried among survivors and cruel criminal groups broke out. Players can choose to cooperate with each other to complete the objectives and participate in raids up to 8 members.
